Victorian antique brass trail compass with lid beveled glass and directional stop. Fair usable antique condition with small signs of wear. Great patina on the brass. There is a small amount of hazing or light spots under the glass on the inside of the compass. Small spots are located all around the inside print on the compass. Please see pictures for full details on condition. The center of the compass has a brass color showing through. Lid is marked on the underside with numbers in lead. This is typical of watch and compass repairs and maintenance over the years. Stamped .38 on the side. Directional freeze is located on the side of the compass with a moving lever that works.
